Microsoft still wants its Surface line to be somewhere between a tablet and a laptop, but the result is usually a tablet that really wants to be a laptop. That's no different this time around. To help with lap use, Microsoft is upgrading its smaller Surface Type Covers to accommodate the Surface 3.
